There is a dignity to this; there is a formality --
The flowers vivid as bandages, and the man mending.
They bow and stand: they suffer such attacks!

from Among the Narcissi by Sylvia Plath

 

Featuring a new series of circular, enamel and pencil drawings, the presentation is titled after one of Shaw’s favourite poems, Among the Narcissi by Sylvia Plath (first published 1963), which muses on man’s relationship to nature and its ability to heal and nurture.
